Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces Day and Army Aviation Day of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Today in Ukraine we celebrate the Day of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR and the Day of Army Aviation of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian SSR.

Anti-aircraft missile forces are the main force of air defense, they detect, accompany and destroy air targets, ensuring national security.

The servicemen responsible for air defense, repelling constant enemy attacks, protect military and critical facilities, as well as all our rear cities.

Army aviation is a separate component of the Land Forces, including helicopter units and units that perform combat missions as part of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
