June 28 - Constitution Day of Ukraine!

“There is a Constitution!” - this historic phrase was uttered on June 28, 1996, five years after the restoration of Ukraine's Independence!
The Basic Law, which primarily protects the rights and freedoms of all citizens of the country, gives them the right to choose and be independent, and regulates the activities of all branches of government, took 5 years to approve.
They chose from among 15 versions, corrected, finalized, for a long time they could not reach an agreement regarding Ukrainian symbols, language and Crimea, but after all these efforts the whole world recognized that our Main Law is the most democratic!
Happy Holiday! Peace to us and one law for all!
Today we celebrate one of the main state holidays and the only one that is approved in the Constitution itself.
